We bought a plastic block that attaches with Velcro straps. Bought it three years ago at golf store on 466 between Lighthouse Seafood and Morse. Can’t remember name of store.

You could attach the sanding block the same way. I'm guessing the sanding block is the black flat on the bottom round on the top hard rubber one.

If you show it to Paul Miller he can either make one or even maybe one better. He is a handyman in TV and was a Welder Fabricator in Pa. Ditto on the sanding block. I used some heavy duty rubber bands to attach it. I cut them from an old motorcycle inner tube. It brings the contact point closer to the driver, but not quite as much as the block of wood.

I was at Brownwood Golf Cart store about 6 months ago and saw a pedal on the counter. It appeared to be a gas pedal extender that was shaped like a metal foot (similar to the old hot rod gas pedals) and extending a couple inches... I didn't investigate at the time, but might be worth looking into. It appeared to be something that screwed to the pedal, but could be made portable / detachable.

I saw that also. It appears to be more of a permanent install device though, so won't be practical.

How about this,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, get some scrap Styrofoam, left at the curb sides for pickup, then use two very large cable ties available from electric supply or from Home Depot?
Just a suggestion. Styro foam may be available form the Furniture stores too. A lot of it comes with TV sets.
