I found some new Evolution carts in stock at Boterocarts with low end battery (30-40 miles) for cheap, relatively speaking. This would handle my typical needs, but would like an option to extend if we ever head up to Spanish springs with the cart. Just bought a place in Desoto.

I prefer a gas, but the fumes bother my princess. After doing some initial research, Evolutions have a lot of features for way less than Yamaha gas carts. I understand that batteries have a shorter lifespan and the fire risks that seem to be a common thread in these discussions.

I know this question was asked a couple years ago, hoping things have changed.

Having a lithium cart myself, I’ve never come close to needing a charging station. I’ve never used more than 1/2 charge in a day and just plug it in when I get home. But I also couldn’t stand the fumes and the noise. Even in the quiet tec, it’s noisy.

Ask yourself this question instead - do you really want to sit in a cart that long? If I have to drive more than 30 minutes in the cart, I'm taking my car.

Also, there is a reason Chinese made Evolutions are cheaper than American made Yamahas. Good luck getting parts....
