I got excellent same-day service from Leo's Golf Cart Screens. Call 446-9835. It was only 20 bucks as I recall. And as Leo told me, it does keep the bugs out of your teeth(!).

Well in today's postings, read this one folks.
Default 2017 Gas Yamaha exhaust smell inside cart
I have a 30 day old new cart bought for Mom and Dad. Now that it is cooler and the sides are down they keep having exhaust smell inside. I took it back to the Sumter Landing TV shop. They said it was repaired. Their note stated "Glass fibers inside the exhaust came loose and wasn't catching carbon. Reattached and no more fumes are being released". Well it is worst now. Any advice because this making Mom sick in her stomach and Dad very sad and me very mad.

Moral to the story,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Buy Electric, suggest you see AGC Carts near Bonefish Grill. No gas, no fumes, no clutch, no flywheel to deal with.
We have an Ez Go Electric from the Advantage Carts and it is wonderful, about a year now. Whenever you see a gas pump, there is a message there for you.

Yep, it is common folks. Consider this: In order to burn one pint, about one pound of fuel, it takes 14 pounds of air. So 15 pounds of exhaust products are going somewhere for sure. If you do not believe this, then go to a good library and get a book on Chemistry of Combustion. See it for yourself.

Stick with your gas cart choice. My wife has an electric and she loves it. I have a new 2017 gas cart and would nothing else. Sorry if the above mentioned person has a "gas" problem but I haven't even had a hint of such. I get over 200 miles a tank and never have to remember to plug it in nor do I worry about carrying a towing strap. Stick with gas. (But then I also recognize that we still have a choice in America).

Where is the best place to get the seat belts that are mentioned in this thread?

We had a propane in cart heater. Used it once in 6 years.

Coleman stopped selling them - they could tip over and burn cart occupants.

Also needed are high storage shelves either by front windshield and/or off roof behind seat.

And lockable glove compartments.

We love our 2017 Yamaha Gas Cart.

How could I forget. Seats, nice, comfortable seats. When I bought my Yamaha at LSL in 2011 the only upgrade was Ultimate Seats and they had just one style. Now they have six models and a competitor, a local one from Ocala at that, El Tigre offers a similar seat for less money. My Ultimate Seats were $1500 option on a new cart, I think TV Yamaha is selling the El Tigre seats for about $1200 and they look nice. I would recommend getting the center armrest, it's nice when you have one hand (left) on the wheel and the right arms has somewhere to sort hold onto to.

My cart with Ultimate Seats, also I highly recommend the larger side mirrors, make sure the top edge of the mirror is not higher than mine, otherwise you'll have a blind spot when turning. Also, I have the black painted roof, done by TV Yamaha for $300, and the SS Wheels are not expensive, $125 for 4 wheels. I also recently got rid of the floor mat that was like a heavy duty door mate in the photo, (it holds onto dirt) I replaced with the Rhino Rubber Mat $60 at TV Yamaha. Gorilla Floor mats are only 4mm thick, Rhino is 8mm. I still have the original 6-pack cooler, I noticed now they have a 12-pack cooler, I may to to switch later on. If you're from Maryland, don't forget your Orioles and Ravens decals.

I did go with the Rhino Mat (you are right about the mat, it looked like it would collect dirt) and El Tigre seats. I looked at the larger cooler but it doesn't come in all black. Do you use the cooler?

Golf Cart Heater Alternative
 

Alternative to a heater - ask for "Lava Buns" for Christmas. You microwave the insert for about four minutes, slip it into a cover and the warm seat will last for at least two hours to get you thru 9 holes of golf in surprising warmth with no danger of a tipped over heater ruining a golf cart window.
