There was an accident, and the frame has to be replaced. Thankfully it is a full replacement of the frame and NOT a "fix"

My buddy has the new d max with the 16” wheel/tires. I’ve traveled with him 2x now golfing and it’s 1 hell of a cart. Very good quality. I’m thinking of getting the same. All the smaller tunnels are way north of here, nowhere where I’ll be taken this. The 165 battery is on the low side, I would wait for the 205 to get much better range

If "the family" has taken any interest at all in the height of new personal transport vehicles it has been to make new tunnels taller, which is all "the family" can do. If you attend any of the meetings mentioned above you will learn that "the family" builds new infrastructure, they don't maintain existing infrastructure. Maintenance of existing infrastructure is the responsibility of the CDD encompassing it. The two short tunnels might be an interesting, separate case. Those tunnels do not appear to be within a CDD, they are within the Saddlebrook Exec Golf course and the Laurel Manor Rec center. Given that location, those two tunnels might be maintained with amenity funds. If that is true then the funds to heighten (not widen) those tunnels would come from your amenity fee. So the proper question might be, when do we petition the necessary CDDs and committees to spend our amenity dollars to heighten two tunnels so that those who want to purchase a "refrigerator-on-wheels" don't have to find an alternate route?

![]() What is the stated range? I would estimate 50 miles with one person. Does the back cooler with wheels come standard? Will the dash refrigerator make muh beer ice cold? These behemoths were never anticipated way back then. |

Everything is made in China, they are only assembled in the US. Thats a big no for me... Second, you cannot find local dealerships information on their website without filling out a form requesting a lot of your information. This all leaves a bad taste....

Why would larger tires not be golf course approved? The diameter of the tire makes no difference at all but the wider the tire the less weight on the turf and therefore less damage.

You do know that The Villages has a listing of “approved” tires for use on the golf courses, right ? Last edited by jarodrig; Yesterday at 04:17 PM. |

No, I didn't know that. As a non-golfer that isn't something that concerns me and driving a Yamaha and an EZ-Go I figure I'm in good shape if that ever changes.

So I guess you will be walking. Yamaha, club car, and ezgo all use substantial amounts of Chinese parts. I have a Yamaha cart that is great but they have dropped the ball on Lithium. My D5 we bought last year is just way nicer and to be honest, built better.
