Thanks

Try Charles, 352-408-2534. Don't know if he is still in business. Has a small shop off 441/27 at the end of 466A.

Cart World on 27/441 finished the conversion of my 2019 Tomberlin into an LSV a couple of years ago. They did a nice job and had an employee who was very well informed. I have been driving an LSV in The Villages for 10+ years and though I feel like I am entering a race track when I get onto Morse or Buena Vista I enjoy not having to deal with tunnels, gas fumes, speed bumps, narrow bridges and fellow senior citizen Villagers coming toward me in their carts at 30 mph. My 25 mph max speed does make me a road hazard.

BUT could you do it? I have no respect for warranties.

This is the best lead. I am on a waiting list for changes. If Charles gets the right adapter I may not need the stronger rear bumper.

25 MPH speed does no take me road hazard? You’re kidding right?

Did you mean to say does not make me a road hazard or does make me a road hazard?

A lot of info on street legal carts posted here is flat out wrong. I highly recommend 24 Cart Club 352-661-0562, HOME | 24hrcartclub. They are a full service, family owned and operated business that specializes in all things cart related, including converting to street legal LSV. They have converted 2 carts for us. Yes, it’s going to cost you . Depending on what your cart needs to comply with Florida requirements, it could be as high as $1100 plus the insurance, which is the same as a car.

I’m guessing hat you live in one of the many communities that share a border with the villages, because if you live within the bubble, you really don’t need to convert to lsv as you are connected to the paths and never have to go where regular carts aren’t supposed to go.

Hope this helps.

24 hour cart club cannot change the speed. Right now, nobody can. The 2022 carts require a different connection and software . If I had to guess, I would say that evolution is not making any of this available to the public and they are standing on their dealers.

He's clearly stating that his cart is a hazard on the road.
