Default EZGO Elite Lithium power consumption

Had my neighbors EZGO Elite Lithium whilst she was away for a week.

That thing uses only 85W per mile! About 0.8 cents per mile! It is impressive.

The lithium battery charges at 10 miles per hour.

Also, It is exactly 35 miles around TV on the MMP (I was bored)

Meggison -> Buena Vista -> El Camino Real -> Morse = 35 miles.

That’s good to hear. I’m patiently waiting for mine to come in. Mid Nov it is supposed to be here. I ordered it in June.

Thanks for the report!

Do any of the conversion kits come close to this?

I get the same efficiency with a Roypow 105AH battery in a 2011 EZGO. My neighbor put the same battery in an old Club Car and he gets only 2/3 the range.

It went almost exactly 60 miles before the low battery light came on. I suspect I could have gone another 5 miles at that point.

The EZGO Elite Lithium uses a 120ah battery pack. It has an AC motor which are 25% more efficient than the old DC motors and they are brushless so there is nothing to wear out in an AC motor. Figure on about 2ah per mile on a cart with an AC motor.

That old Club Car probably has a DC motor.

Thanks!

Apologies in advance for not doing a search but is a Club Car conversion more than just replacing batteries and charger?

How much to change batteries on my 2011 Yamaha w/a Curtis Cab to lithium? Currently 8 batteries. Do I need to change more than batteries and charger?
