Just like with cars, electric powered golf carts will likely replace gas powered golf carts in the future. Longer lasting batteries and better range is all that's needed. Electric carts are quieter, quicker off the line and smoother running than gas carts. Right now gas carts may have some advantages, but electric carts are beginning to close the gap.

Hopefully the new batteries will not drop crap on the floor. I moved Dad's cart and TVs floor protector. Acid leaked thru the protective mat and left spots on the painted floor. Memories of why I have a Yamaha gas cart.
