TV has a list of golf approved tires by brand and size.

It seems to me that the thing that would approximately indicate the amount of damage a vehicle would cause would be the tire pressure. It’s not a perfect indicator because a large person would cause more damage than a small one for a given vehicle. But, I think the design tire pressure for a vehicle is based upon a typical payload.

I thought the scooter would be perfect for the Villages and cheaper than buying a second cart. Prior to purchasing I sent an email to golf the villages asking about their policy. Shortly after I received a phone call telling me no. It is easier to just say no rather than deal with all the potential injuries liabilities etc. To bad!

Why does everyone have to buck the system, golf courses are for golf carts!!!!!!! Every thing else does an injustice and distraction to other golfers.

While serving in the military, I developed The Petty Beaurocrat Theory. People like to assert authority. If they do not have the authority to approve, they assume they have the authority to disapprove and they exercise that perceived authority regularly

Are you saying the villages golf does not have the authority? I'm not understanding your statement. "perceived authority"?

I have rented them at other courses and they are pretty tame. It's not like they are a dirt bike. They don't seem like they would be injurious to the course.

Those questions are why they throw up their hands and build condos! Why does someone always try to circumvent the Rules
