Default FWD/REV switch messing up

Mrs Fox has an old 36v E-Z-Go in which forward and reverse are selected using a lever located in the middle of the front panel of the seat.

Once going, there is never a problem, but getting the "connection" in the first place has become a trial and error process, so I assume the whole unit needs to be replaced.

Who would you recommend to do this - hopefully at the house as she uses the cart on a daily basis so wouldn't want it taken away for several days to be worked on.

Thank you

The good news is you may not need a complete switch replacement. Looks like your wanting a mobile guy to come out, who should be able to fix/replace the unit in less than an hour. Because the cart still runs, good chance the switch can be repaired. In the event, it does need complete replacement, make sure you get a genuine EZGO part. The after market F/R switches are junk. Hope this helps

I agree this might be nothing more than an adjustment of the switches on the cams. Do a search for a good mobile golf cart tech.

Thank you, VT - Mrs Fox has contacted "the fixer of carts"
