Check out Facebook Marketplace, there are many local brand new carts available for sale. All very reasonably priced. . let us know that you find and what you buy! There appears to be many more options for sale by private parties than from the store fronts.

good luck

I've been thinking about selling my street rod golf cart to replace it with a motorcycle. Message me for details.

I am not sure about the “very reasonably priced part.” After following Talk classifieds, Facebook and Villages News classifieds it seems to me that the asking price of used carts has shot up quickly, even for carts 10-15 years old and modestly equipped, and for newer carts the asking prices often are not too far from new or reconditioned carts.

My 2011 Yamaha cart should not sell for more than 4000. in a normal market but I see them selling for 6000. or better now. Not a buyers market. Best to wait if you can but it could be a couple years at best before it gets back to normal.

"gets back to normal" you say, these things have been overpriced since the beginning here at the Villages, seen some new "Golf Carts" go for: $14 - $23K, ridiculous!

everyone is different, if someone has the money, the perceived value may be different .. . in a marketplace where the new sales stores don't have inventory, and one has to wait for 6 months for a delivery, maybe the price on a used lawnmower cart goes up 20%. Same with used cars at the moment, which also has an operator determined to corner the used car market in Carvana.

When I first walked into the Villages golf cars store, I said no way. . . i am NOT paying the same as my used jetta with 20K miles, but it can go across country and the cart can't. But if I want to drive one and not drive my car every day to the golf course, and walk, i might just cough up $15K, . . . or sell one car and buy the cart.

its all what one has and wants. . . nothing more. . .
