I had trouble with two sets of Trojan and so went to Powertron 4 years go. I anticipate so am in the process of replacing my batteries. What specific battery would you folks recommend?

a friend of mine had 8-6 volt batteries replaced at there house for 884.00 out the door. They are Trojan batteries. Star Ev on 466 did them they were very impressed 352-750-3246 is there number

Battery Boys replaced 6 x 8 volts for 728 4 months ago. Arrived about 1 minute before the appointment time. Pleasant technician. Removed old batteries and the watering system tubes. He soaked and cleaned the tubes in a bucket of water. He inspected the battery compartment and found a few rusting areas which he sanded down to metal and then painted. He waited until the paint was dry before installing the new batteries. He cleaned all the cable connections, not replaced as they were all in good shape. Once everything was rewired, then reinstalled the clean watering tubing. Paid by credit card and so far all is good. Could someone else have done as well for a lower price. I have no idea. I was impressed that when I called for information I was given the cost to the penny and when I asked was that an estimate was told No, it was the cost I would be charged.
