Default Golf Cart Mat

I'm looking for a golf cart mat for my new garage. Are they sold in golf cart stores or like Walmart and such. I heard there is sometimes a coupon in the paper for a mat but have never seen it. Are they expensive or even worth it ? Thanks for the info..

They have rubber or plastic mats at the golf cart shop in Lake Sumter. I think they're around $40.

If you are at the Market of Marion (Flea) check out Rugrats. They sell a small mat for about $25. I have one under each electric cart in case I get a little acid spill. They look like a very cheap rug, but have done the job for me.....

They were recommended to me by the guys at Cost-Less who sealed my driveway and garage.

I used a section of carpet that was left over. 3'x4' or so. Probably ask someone on here and get it for free.

I also suggest looking at cheap carpets as that is what we have. Bought two at Wal-Mart for about $19 each. Just be sure if you buy carpet do not get any with rubber backing as it may stick to the garage floor and thus create a mess if you ever try to remove it.

I agree with AJ , Go to Marion Market and try Rugrats at the far west end of the Bldg. I bought three 3x5 rubber backed mats with nap on top that matches my garage floor....two for carts and one for car....... My floor is painted tan and they look really nice .....plus they don't stick to painted floors. Now all my neighbors have them ..........

good luck , Fumar .....

PS I should mention that my floors are painted with epoxy floor paint......

Town & Country has a black hard plastic mat ($79) designed specifically to trap battery acid. It folds in half for moving and storing. The mat sold by the Village Golf Carts for $39 has the consistency of a moving quilt. I thought $79 was a lot for T&C mat but not if it protects my epoxy garage floor.
