Golf cart paths are on the golf courses. The paved areas next to highways are multi modal trails. This means that there are many modes of transportation permitted on these trails. The main restriction is to keep the speed of what ever mode you choose, under twenty miles per hour. If you exceed twenty miles per hour, then you are using a mode that requires registration and a license. The penalty for this is that you are driving an unlicensed vehicle and subject to the penalties and fines imposed by the courts if you are caught.

Default Paths

Sorry to show my ignorance, but I am so adept at it:

What is a Gem car? Might this be something I would know by another name?

Just wondering.

The thread piqued my interest because I have ridden a bicycle on some of the cart paths and will use others in the future.

Thanks.

cybrgeezer, gem car is a street legal vehicle, a tad bigger than a golf cart,

it requires license, registration, etc and you recognize them by a bubble look to the front end.

Default Par Cars

stay away from them The service department is awful. they do not keep their word. they don't check the carts before sending them back to customers: they stress you out to get what you need
