Just beware that they need to be tagged and so need much more than a standard golf cart. :police: They are also treated as cars for insurance purposes.

Oh Kelsie.:a040:

Good for you. Congratulations on your new home. Building a home is so much fun, especially when you see it done the way TV does it. They have it down to a science.

I know you have made one of the best choices of your life.

I hope you will have every joy in your new house.

Hugs,
Gracie

street legal not for me

Having been an injury (auto) claims adjuster for about 8 years, you will never catch me on a motorcycle, scooter or street legal golf cart, nor will I do road biking (as opposed to bike trail). It's not you, it's the other guy - too many people go too fast, don't maintain a proper lookout, run red lights, etc. IMO more now than in the past (don't you notice 3 cars going thru yellow, then red lights- getting so you look in the rearview mirror before you stop on a yellow, just because you don't want to get rearended)? Everybody's in a hurry.

Almost all of my motorcycle injury claims were because the other guy didn't see you. And in The Villages, with an older population, well . . . probably just as bad as the 20 something drivers in a different way.

That's just MO.

I'm not so sure if I'd wish to drive a street legal cart on busy intersections. They might have less protection than a motorcycle.
