He picked up our cart on 4-15-23 and returned it on 5-21-23. It was a simple bearing problem. He did not repair the cart, almost refused to return it and never did anything he agreed to do. He finally said he'd return it on Sunday, 5-21-23 and never showed up. Late in the afternoon he finally returned my call and agreed to return the cart at 7:30pm. He showed up at 8:00pm after texting me an incorrect address. Dealing with him has been frustrating. While he may understand golf carts he certainly does not understand how business works. He is a very poor communicator and, in my case, never did what he said he'd do. So I had a poor experience and would encourage others not to use his service.

We use Scott, our neighbors do too. There are two sides to every story and we only know one side. Sorry you had a bad experience and you might be a great person but this type of post isn’t necessary, the man has a family. You don’t like him then move on. We ran a successful business for 25 years and I learned one thing for sure. The old saying “The customer is always right” was wrong. A customer is a person you make money on, everyone else is a pain in the butt.

"There are always 2 sides to every story. Yes, I did have the cart for a month because you were out of town for a month. You contacted me Wednesday to say you were back in town. I told you I was short-handed and could get it back to you on Sunday at some point. I told you I would be there at 7:30, unfortunately, my son's bball game went overtime and I didn’t make it there until 8:00 pm. You proceeded to berate me and my family by using profanity and being very aggressive and threatening. I politely apologized for being late multiple times and you continued to get in my face and yell at me with vulgar language. I never intended to not return your cart, as you are trying to portray. I have been in business for over 10 years and no one has ever treated me with such disrespect. We are a small business and try to make everyone happy, unfortunately, sometimes things don’t go as planned." Scott

Scott…great response…you are truly a great businessman who tries to please everyone. You have always gone out of your way to fix our cart asap. We are very happy to be a client of yours!

In today’s society I look at things and try to understand how someone can possibly interpret the same thing I am looking at and come up with some of the conclusions they do. When you look at right and wrong and tell me wrong is the best it’s real scary where we are headed.

If what Scott said is fact - poster should be ashamed of trying to ruin a business! Glad to see a response from Scott. I will use him for my repairs!

I have to say Scott's response makes a lot more sense.

I have had the opposite experience with Titan and Scott. Always on time, does good work at fair prices. He knows golf carts, particularly EZGOs.

Thanks for your side of the story, Scott. Your response to the customer who was “wired” to be aggressive and disrespectful was exactly right. If that customer doesn’t want to do business with you again, I’m sure your feelings are the same.

Keep on doing the great work you do. You’ll be my “go to” golf cart repair source.

So, after reading Titans reply, it sounds like the OP had his cart picked up for service, and then left town for an extended period of time. Who does that? The OP should be thankful Titan did not charge him a storage fee.

Lpaul 05-23-2023 07:28 AM

Titian - great service and he was always honest.

I’ve used him for several years and always honest, up front and very friendly. Great service and tried to give best and reasonable pricing…
Must have been a Mis-communication..

Well for one, they seem to be the only ones who dislike the service. Usually more POPs jump on the don't use this or them.

LonnyP 05-23-2023 08:14 AM

Wow, seems like someone left a lot of facts out of this story based on the other responses.

GPGuar 05-23-2023 08:16 AM

After reading the entire blog, I’m still wondering was the original problem fixed? Or did he return it with nothing done?

Tyson 05-23-2023 08:51 AM

Have used Scott a lot. Good guy knows his stuff. There must be more to this guys story. Im gonna call Scott.

Tyson 05-23-2023 08:54 AM

I knew there was something else going on here. I gave you a great response to this evidently idiots behavior. This is Robey.
