Default Golf Cart Service at Brownwood

Is anyone else tired of the inability to get a service appointment within a reasonable time frame? Twice I have called for a service appointment and was given a TWO MONTH wait for the next appointment. Of course then they tell you to bring it in for a daily appointment before 8:00 am. I was there one day at 7:15 am and they were already filled. I have purchased 2 carts from them in excess of $30,000 yet I still need to wait two months for an appointment. This is unacceptable.

Thats why I did not buy from them. Bought from Carts And Clubs - Ocala...They come to your home and it has always been in a reasonable time frame.......

Wife had the same experience, two month wait. I don't really keep track of this stuff but I think we have already waited half the time.

In any case, I told her to document when she called who she spoke to etc.

You might try calling around. I would assume there are places that you can drive your golf cart to that have shorter waits and there are people authorized???? who can do it at your home.

REASON? There was a recent recall on the Yamaha brake cable.

I've taken my cart to Brownwood for service since 2014, to include annual maintenance, and various add-on's. I literally have never had a problem arriving in the morning and leaving it.

I picked up a used cart that was bought from them originally and is still under warranty. But no service records so I wanted to get it serviced just to make sure it's up to date. As of earlier this week, the soonest Sumter could get me in was June 25 and Brownwood was June 18. But Spanish Springs was May 18. I'm closest to Brownwood but will be making the ride to Spanish Springs to get the service done there. Now, if I need repairs to get back up and running, rather than routine service, I do hope that they can get me in sooner than 2 months.

Snowbirds having the carts serviced after they left? Population growth?

I have always been able to get in the same day if I get there by 7:30.

If you are not getting warranty work done then call Todd Casey. Excellent mechanic who comes to your house to do any service you need. He does great work at a reasonable price. However, I am not sure if he works on electric carts. Both of ours are gas.

A BIG second on Todd (352) 256-2068!

I know a half-dozen or so people that have bought a new cart in the last year from Carts and Clubs in Ocala and to a person...they are ecstatic.

They said they saved a substantial amount of money on the purchase, they love the little things (like the unique vented windshield) that C&C puts on their carts...and never have a problem with scheduling service or repairs.

My next new cart will definitely...come from them.

How do you get the cart to Ocala?

The same way you get to or from...Fenney.

As bagboy stated, they come to you...just as Todd Casey does.

Just to note, Carts and Clubs only services a cart you bought from them.
