How about a cart for the calorically challenged? More than a tilt wheel!

fishon 07-16-2016 05:54 AM

Keep it simple.
Add blocks to the pedals, just like Dad did for your tricycle.

Try an EZ-GO.

Atomic carts seem to have lots of adjustments.

Might these help? :D

On a more serious note, I have neighbors that have permanently attached blocks (with a non-slip surface) to the brake and accelerator pedals for their wives.

Although they are permanently attached, the husbands have said it doesn't take all that much to get used to them for themselves (one guy is 6'+).

Even though it is a small inconvenience for the husband, to a man they've said the gratitude from their wives more than makes up for it.

Where as I cannot drive his cart without a pillow behind me and one under me. Can't see out and cant reach the wheel or the pedals comfortably or safely.

Love my Ca Roadster! It is cure and comfy and super reliable!

Good luck finding a cart that works for you or a modification that works. The pedal extenders offered by Carts and Clubs are great BTW.

A couple of days ago I saw a lady driving a light purple/pinkish CA Roadster and thought it looked really kewl.

Do you have a top for yours and do you find any problems/issues in inclement weather? How about when golfing?

I've been thinking of getting one as a second cart, but haven't done a lot of research yet.

Thanks for any info. :)

Lots of answers for pedal extenders and pillows. We had them both and were just awkward most times. The pedal extenders works but than your arms are too short to comfortably steer. The pillow can be fastened, moved when someone else is driving but seemed to always be in the way and gets wet unless certain materials.
We went with the adjustable seats and YES they do move much forward enough to ride and steer comfortably while the passenger seat can be adjusted all the way back. The backs recline or go forward. BEST solution and creates for more comfortable driving daily.
The Villages Golf stores sells them and they cost between $1100-$1700 depending on how fancy you get. Still is in the price of the cart for resale later. If you have a cart, sell your old seat to reduce the cost

They are cute, aren't they!! Mine does have a roof. (with a surf board on top!) It also has side curtains that can be used for cold or rainy days.

It has a trailer hitch sort of thing that i put in place when golfing. It holds two bags like most golf carts. When it is removed, I can open the "rumble" seat, so that it will seat 4.

Great little cart! The front "hood" is a pretty large trunk space for groceries or other shopping. I will try to attach a photo, if I remember how.

Why it is sideways, I do not know! Sorry!

dotti,

Very cute golf cart. I clicked once on the photo to make it larger, waited a few seconds then clicked on it again, and the photo is not sideways. Go figure. :gc:

No problem and thanks for the pic and info!

To me they really are the coolest carts I've seen, as I'm not a real fan of the Yesteryear types.

I guess I'm going to have to go shopping and researching more now, as the vision of a bright yellow one with red flames keeps popping up in my mind. :D

And the hood emblem is perfect. What is it from, as it doesn't look like the RR Flying Lady but is close?

Do you find the doors an inconvenience and is that why you have yours off?

Anyway, if I get closer to buying one I will ask some more questions.

Thanks again. :)

Agree, even with adjustable seats my wife uses pillow or back support.
