Default Golf cart sound bar?

Thinking seriously on one of these. Wonder if anyone here has done it and where they placed it in a Yamaha? Back, Front? What kind did you get?

Why not just buy a nice Bose rechargeable unit that you can bring anywhere with you instead of making not too many friends with the boom box? Frowned upon even by me and I like loud music. We should consider those around us and many in our age bracket don't really like the real loud stuff in public. This is meant constructively.....live your life.

I use a UE Boom 2 Bluetooth speaker that sounds great. It is designed to fit in a cup holder. I mounted a water bottle cage (using zip ties) on the back roof support rail behind the driver and keep it there. It’s in a dry spot and out of sight so I don’t worry about it getting stolen. I bring it in the house every week or two to charge it.

The UE2 is a good speaker. It sounds great, is weather resistant and can easily be mounted or simply left in the cup holder (it’s a perfect fit).

We have this. It is waterproof, has a heavy duty magnet to mount up above. Sounds great and movable

A good portable bluetooth speaker is all you need . You do not need a smart BT speaker . Your smart phone will only be a foot away . Shop for good sound and battery life . I charge mine every 3 to 4 weeks . I put the speaker on the charger when I golf(no sound) and then I am good for 3 to 4 weeks .

I had this done by the premier Yamaha tuner in the country, Don Plowman:

The Villages Florida

The Villages Florida

I believe it's a bazooka. The extra lead off the speaker is for connecting to an amp.

My kid's got me this for my birthday...

The Villages Florida

https://www.amazon.com/JBL-Waterproo...NsaWNrPXRydWU=

It clips on the the cross-bar where the rearview mirror is attached. I unclip it asnd toss it into the locked "glove compartment" when I'm not using it...

Interesting. Now While I do value opinions, I will say the intent is to have a speaker setup that I can enjoy, not necessarily BOOM it but something entertaining (Lights as well) including the reduced issue of having to worry about someone grabbing the portable speaker (I didn't spring for the locking glove box option). @ElDiabloJoe, I like that look, thought I think due to the backup mirror/Backup Camera, I think it may work best in the back for me.

Simple solution, easy peasy.

Why? Just because you have speakers doesn't mean you have to blast the music...

I go to work every morning at 0500. I ended up getting one of those light bars because of the knuckle heads that feel the need to wear black clothing and walk the cart paths at night. Gives you a real appreciation for those with reflective vests or the lighted slings

Default Amp caddy

I have two Amp Caddy Pro speakers on one cart and two Amp caddy Max speakers on the other cart. They work great, clamp on to the roof supports easily, are water proof and seldom need recharge. I had a minor issue with two and the company replaced them completely - excellent customer service. The sound is excellent and you can synch two speakers in one cart if you desire. I highly recommend them - they can be purchased on Amazon - just search Amp Caddy Speakers. I also purchased their phone holder and it also works great.Amazon.com
