That’s disappointing to hear. I had been considering them for my cart. What’s the problem?

we bought them when we bought our new cart. The evening sun is powerful.
and, actually, They don't work like the cars, just not long enough and then theres the space on top that allows the sun in. Ours don't make noise. But for the $99 we paid, what are you going to do.... better than driving with your hand across your face. |

An alternative is to apply dark tinted static cling film to the outside of the top 7or 8” of your windscreen.
Advance Auto sells the material and all you have to do is cut it to size, clean the windscreen, and apply it with the plastic tool supplied. I recall the cost was around $10 or so! Especially great for early mornings when the sun is fairly low. The dark tint still allows some light through, so it doesn’t obscure vision. Installed it about two years ago and it still looks like new! |

My wife made a fabric valence that is 36 inches wide, 8 inches high, with a 1 inch tubular overlap at the top. I unbolted one end of the cross brace on my Yamaha and slid the valence on. Needed a small cutout where the rear view mirror bracket attaches.
Two layers of dense fabric because the sun is strong. Works perfectly. |
