It's not just the actual height and width of a cart that can cause a problem going through a tunnel...it's also the approach that can get ya.

As proof, the east entrance to the Saddlebrook tunnel under Buena Vista has lots of marks on the crown of the tunnel... where golf cart roofs have hit.

Par Car once got stuck in Lopez/Legacy tunnel. Folks had to wait for some heavy folks to sit in and lower the cart.

The older tunnels are short and narrow. If you start up north they grow larger the farther south you travel. The more they build the better they become!

Agreed, need to be very careful in the tunnels in the Lopez/Glenview area, but the further south you go, the easier they get. A couple years ago I was following a cart with a Christmas tree tied to the top of it. As it approached the tunnel I was screaming and honking the horn to try to warn them, but into the tunnel they drove. They didn't get very far. Needless to say, they needed a new tree as well as some golf cart repair.
