Over 15 years ago TV golf cart salesman told me to use turtle car wax. Good results every since on 3 different carts.

I forgot to mention that Novus used to be Milspec authorized to clean and polish Navy Aircraft canopies and windscreens.

The OPs question was about the soft clear plastic on an enclosure - think Sunbrella. Many of these suggestions are about cleaning the windscreen. My guess is that requires two different products.
