Default Its Getting Hot Out There

I have a solid windshield in my golf cart. It folds down, but the wind bothers my eyes when driving.

How can I keep cool? Replace the windshield with one that has the lower tilting section? Get one with louvers?

Anyone had luck with a fan? I have a USB port. What kind of fan? Where and how did you mount it? Any sources for one?

All suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks. Can you please expand on what type? Where you got it? Cost? Did you install it yourself? Anything you'd improve about it?

I replaced the folding down version with the windshield that has the lower tilting section and it is great!
It allows for great airflow into the cart, but isn’t blasting me in the face.
I also wear wrap around sunglasses!

Three speed fan, mounts on lower windshield via suction, $21.99. Fairly effective. Moves the air. Needs a converter from USB to cigarette lighter-type plug.

I found that on my motorcycle also but you can get a different style of sunglasses that surrounds and protect your eyes better.

Yes, I was going to say clear googles, (can be like aviators) ... on the bike I use a full face helmet; ventilated Arai. But the cart doesn’t go fast enough for effective ventilation of the helmet, I think.

My neighbors' cart has those slotted vents at the bottom, that's the windshield you get from Villages Discount Golf Carts and they really don't do any good. I know years ago I had the wind problem when riding a motorcycle and sunglasses didn't work, so I had a full face shield. For the cart now we always put the top down and I wear Oakley Sunglasses, I have 4 pairs, they're not cheap but I get them on eBay for about half the price or go to Walmart and in the fishing department you can find similar no-name glasses for $15.

These are Oakley Radar Path, I have four different colors of these. The white and blue frames with the blue lenses I get a lot of compliments or people asking where I got them.

For back-up, I have a couple of pair of these from Walmart. I even have them in amber lenses which is great on a cloudy day or at sunset.
