These added lights should only be used when there is no oncoming traffic and a separate an/off switch should be installed for easy control. They should never be directly activated when the normal headlights are turned on or you will blind oncoming traffic as well as traffic in front of you when they use their mirrors. Just simple politeness and use of technology makes it acceptable for everyone.

I had an aircraft landing light put in my patrol car spotlight for nighttime stops; I could see every movement going on in those vehicles.

Hey that’s good idea, think I’ll add 4. Two at bottom of the windshield and two off the rain canopy roof. Point them up so I can go raccoon hunting.

Just saw your posting, and perhaps you have solved the issue by now, but we had one installed at The Villages Golf Carts in Sumter Landing. It made a huge difference in lighting up the trail, as we have an older cart with standard headlights.
