I don't see Carts For Less mentioned. It's on 441 just down in Fruitland. Completely reconditioned carts, stripped to the chassis and rebuilt according to your specs, with 1 year warranty. I saved big bucks compared to the other shops mentioned here. Very please with my experience. Well worth a visit before you buy.

Todd Casey Golf Cart Repairs

Either one will come to home and perform annual maintenance for about $70 on your gas cart or any repairs. You can search their names on TOTV and find they both have excellent references.

I like that new matte finish, I was in LSL buying a larger cooler last year and saw the matte finish and I looked a the cart and it was $15,000.

Absolutely! Imagine going in to buy a cooler, and walking out with a new cart :)

I bought this 2017 Yamaha Drive 2 gas cart new from a dealer in southern Georgia, had him add a few options like turning signal mirrors, folding windshield, rain cover for golf bags, he shipped it to me for $200. Then added customs seats, 10 inch wheels and tires myself.

Total cost was $8750

No, didn't walk out with a new cart. However, those old 6-pack coolers that use come on the carts, like my 2011 cart, were just too small. I've seen the normal 12-pack, has a wire frame rack and there $80. They have newer one I picked up for $20 more, it was $100. I figured how often am I going to buy a cooler. It's even bigger and more insulated than the $80.

My cart will be 9 years old in July, and I just got into a kick to do some more work. I've got Liquid Lights coming next week, nobody had those LED lights back then. I just ordered an overhead AM/FM radio console with speakers that will go in the ceiling, that will be here tomorrow. I got rid of the old floor matt, the ones that stuff fell right through and got the solid rubber from LSL, and I just waxed the cart. I'm considering seat belts next.

How much for the seats, and where did you find them?

Ultimate Seats like in my cart above were $1500 from TV, however they have gone out of business. The Villages Golf Cars and Carts & Clubs in Ocala now offer El Tigree Seats, they are about $1400 to $1800 depending on the style. I've heard Carts & Clubs in Ocala will sell the seats for the factory direct price, which is about $200 cheaper than the amounts I stated.

Looking at a thread from January, a poster said these seats are being sold by a Villager for $900 installed.

You'll need to send him a private message for the details, here's the thread.

Check out what you want at their store. Write everything down then order what you want on the internet. Buying straight from the manufacturer cuts out the middle man and they will deliver too.

I bought a new 2019 Drive2 PTV from a dealer in Gadsden, AL (near me at the time) and did the same thing. Saved about $2,500 compared to TV area dealers. The base cart there was only $6,600.

npwalters 06-12-2020 05:09 PM

You absolutely can save at least $2K by going away from TV. I know because I did.

Touring Edition Suite Seats - United Commercial Upholstery, Inc. manufacturer

TOURING EDITION SEATS - Custom Golf Cart Seats Dealer

I got the touring edition seats with armrests and upgraded snakeskin and ostrich vinyl for $680. Easy self install using bolts from standard Yamaha seats. They are every bit as good as ultimate seats at less than half the price.
