Default Roof Mounted Brake Light

Any ideas where I can purchase one of those nifty roof mounted led chasing brake light/turn signal, back up light combination units. The brake is red, the turn signal is amber, and the back up is white. I'm guessing they are on 2021 carts sold by The Villages Cars.

That's not the one the OP is looking for. I have one on my cart , but I bought the cart at The Villages Golf Carts. The whole unit is 27 inches wide. The back-up leds go all the way across.

IMO You going to need wiring diagram also being back up lights are added. Hopefully the new light combination comes with one and the switch when put it in reverse???

When I bought my cart from TV at LSL in 2011, I had one as well. I remember it was a $135 option.

I did a Google search and did not find one that appeared to be like the ones on the golf carts, many were well over 3 feet and approaching 5 feet long. Several were roof mounted (above the roof) on standoffs. Personally I found truck oval brake, running and reverse lights that I mounted on the moveable footrest on our fold down passenger seats. These give additional signals when the footrest is up and partially blocking the normal running/brake lights.

I also did a GOOGLE search and could not read the over 8,000,000 results.

This started on 2019 carts and newer. I was told that the villages golf carts has a patent. Don’t know how long the patent is for but you can have it installed at the villages golf cart. They might not do it if you didn’t purchase your cart from them

I have small led backup lights in my tail lights so just run some wire up to the roof. Finding chasing ones is the hard part.

How about where the back-up buzzer is?? It's a steady 12v.
