Did you have retractable seat belts installed? Did he attach the belts to a metal bar or to the bottom of the seat? Approximately how much did he charge?

We had retractable seat belts installed. Our problem is the belt in the middle is so close to the seat that we are unable to twist our old bodies around to fasten the seatbelt into it. We had to buy extenders that we always leave fastened. We fasten the outside part of the seatbelt to the extender. I'm not posting as a complaint. I am posting as an FYI or a warning. No, we didn't say anything because we just moved here and still had that "I can't believe we live in The Villages" smile plastered on our faces and brains.

We used Village Golf Cars in Brownwood.
They installed our retractable seatbelts for $150.
Price is dependant on whether or not you have custom seats.
We are very happy with them.

I had retractable seat belts installed. He attached them to metal plates
that he also installed and not to the bottom of the seat.

The cost was approximately $100.

We had the retractable belts installed at Village Golf Cars in Sumter Landing. They will also loan you a golf cart if needed. If you are a VHA member, bring your membership card for a 15% discount.

Went to the ParCar parts department in Leesburg and got the exact seat belt parts to install on my 2007 ParCar. Simple - took only a few minutes to bolt them into place. If you don't want to do this, I'm sure any of the above guys will do a good job.

I got mine done at Paradise Power Sports in New Smyrna Beach. It's a little bit of a drive, but I am very happy with finished product!

Default seat belts for Ultimate seats

Our carts both have Ultimate seats and we have been told that we cannot get retractable seat belts for them, which leaves the belts hanging down.
Also, I have heard that many people have the seat belts hooked to the wrong part of the cart, which can be unsafe during an accident. Can anyone clarify this for me?
Thanks

I hope you are able to find a seat belt that will install cleanly into your Ultimate Seats. they really look awesome.

We have been considering them for my hubby's cart and currently have seat belts. We wouldn't want to be without them.

Have you called Ultimate to see if they know an installer, or can give any info.? Just a thought!
