It's not. I'm 5 minutes away and I live in the best location in TV.
(& there are 1,000 best locations in TV)
We could have picked any where in TV & we selected this location.

:ho:

we often leave valuables in our rented cart just to test villager's residents/guests/transients/daily laborers' honesty - will test brownwood next month
interesting note re 24/7 security - that suggests whoever's watching the monitors has the largest bladder in human history

We're not in Atlanta any more Toto.

We had an incident when we rented a golf cart during one of our visits, prior to buying. I came out of the supermarket to get into my cart, and it wasn't there. I got in touch with the golf cart store, told them what happened. They had me look around the lot for another rental cart nearby and I saw one just a couple of spaces and one aisle away from mine, in a nearly empty lot. They got in touch with the renter of THAT one, who reported that they were driving their rental - which turned out to be mine.

After a harrowing hour, with ice cream melting in the bags (Winn Dixie kindly replaced them), the other renters returned and we switched carts.

What I've learned from the experience:

If you leave your golf cart somewhere, put something in the scorecard clipboard to identify the cart as yours. Nothing that can actually identify YOU personally... but something that someone else will see and think "hm - that's not mine." Maybe a bright orange post card that says "Jimbob's Cart" or a score card from any golf course with all 9s in each score box (no one will forget that this isn't their's, I promise!), or a business card of some company in the state you're visiting from.

Hope while you’re here the entertainment opens up. Enjoy!

Agreed, and the villages app gps directions can be in a car, a cart, or walking. You will find that important as each requires a different route.

As I mentioned that particulate area is isolated. Especially with a golf cart as a means of transportation. I have nothing more to add.

The people who bought a home near Brownwood are isolated. Someone should tell them.

Well you made a great choice for your accommodation new ( Brand New ) . The club sure why not. But carts are easy to push onto a pick-up truck.

Do you really need a Golf Cart ?

Perhaps a daily rental for the novelty of it.

Where you will be located is new and other than the Brownwood area you will be isolated from The Villages proper.

There is next door a Publix, Flippers Pizza, and a BBQ, Subway all small and take out . :)

You will not be isolated from TV proper. The golf car paths extend from Brownwood all the way up to Sumter and well beyond. We've driven the path from Sumter to Brownwood. The only direction they can't go is South across 44 and the Turnpike. Not yet at least.

We have been there twice in our golf cart. I think you are mistaken...

Buy insurance, it's much less hassle.

Are you looking to buy a home? We are listing our house this week.
1017 Dentsville Lane in the village of Largo. Good luck to you.

Check with your car insurance to see if they will cover.

That is a new situation. I went to the women's expo shortly after the hotel opened and went by golf cart and I drove my golf cart. I wonder why the hotel would stop golf carts from parking there now??

ts12755 05-19-2020 09:03 AM

I've never heard that to be a problem but best ask the golf cart Place make sure it's covered and the hotel where's a good place to leave it at night

You leave articles as bait in your golf cart . Hmmmm very interesting how some people’s minds work ( strange hobby)
