Just a guess (I have no proof), but it might be smarter to rent an electric golf cart rather than gas. I suspect that most carts that are stolen are gas, since they are more valuable to strip for parts or to sell whole to an unsuspecting customer. If I were a cart thief, I'd be looking for a Yamaha gas model around here. They are the biggest sellers.
