Default Sound proofing /sound deadening a 2017 EFI (not quiet tech) golf cart

Does any one have knowledge of adding additional sound deadening and or insulation with the intent of safely making the cart quieter , with out cutting out proper air flow or creating a fire hazard or over heating the engine or creating any other problem that I did not think of
Thank you

I purchased a roll of foil covered insulating foam rubber that is used on the underside of automobile hoods. Cut it to size and placed it under seat, front and sides of motor and inside the back panel of the cart. Worked very well. Air cooled motor still gets adequate air under the cart. Don't remember what the cost was, but if was not much. Bought it on-line. Do a google search as there are many places to buy.

Sounds like worth trying. How did you attach? Glue, Screws?
