Default tax credit reduced?

I've noticed a posting by "Ad Poster" regarding $5475 tax credit on buying a golf car. I attempted to reply with a question but was blocked from doing so. I thought the big-dollar tax credit had ended on the 31st of December and been replaced with a much less generous 10% credit. Does anyone know if the original plan was extended? If it hasn't, then I don't fully understand Ad Poster's "announcement".

Though we are not cart users, we advertised oner to go with our rental so we decided on the LSV

We were drawn in during late December with the tax credit appeal.
We bought a GEM cart with some slight use for about what the 'new one' would have been by the time we were done with doo dads and add ons
We got a longer warranty and more features.

Remember you are the buyer, you can probably do well now that the 'incentive' is over and there are fewer beating down the door.

The LSV is a great alternative to a car and will pay off after awhile.
Make sure you get the tires that work on the golf courses
