This would work for you. Just add a piece of carpet and a rail in the rear. Then you can also flip it up for a 4 person cart. BEST 4 Pass Flip Rear Seat Conv Kit Golf Cart EZGO Club | eBay I think if you show any cart shop a picture of this they will have something that will do.

Yes, someone else had suggested the same thing...but because my dog is a Saint Bernard, I'm fearful the leap up might be too much. But I'm looking at all options, so thanks so much!

Golf Cart trailer
 
I had a small hitch put on my golf cart on the farm. I used a small garden trailer to take hay and feed to the horses in the front pasture. Worked great.

Gem cars are automobiles and have to be registered and carry auto insurance. Not inexpensive.

I don't think this would be a great idea on the diamond lanes and multimodal paths in TV.

i am not certain if the motor vheicle laws address this issue but it would seem very unsafe to have a golf cart pull a trailer especially going through tunnels, etc.

I agree with Rubicon about driving through the tunnels.

Most have 90 degree turns upon entering and exiting which are very tight.

I suggest you try exploring about first with a regular golf cart on the multimodal paths before you decide what you would like to purchase.

You may have to put a counter-ballast on the front of the cart - otherwise, with that kind of weight in the back, your front wheels may be off the ground. What a picture! No matter where you go you'd have to carry 15 gallon waste bags to take care of the dog's business. Just kidding! Good luck with your project. What a neat idea. I just love other dog lovers.

I think the trailer idea sounds unsafe, as some of the multi modal paths have sharp turns. 12ridehd's idea is excellent. His suggestion would mean the dog could safely be in the golf cart with his humans, and it wouldn't require a big jump up for the dog.
