All the comments I’ve seen about The Villages Carts just confirms the reasons why I continue to purchase from Carts and Clubs in Ocala.

Lucky for her! Had my 2 year old cart in for yearly service recently and the bill came to $178!! And aside from changing oil, replacing fuel filter, adjusting brakes and putting air in the tires, everything else was "inspecting" things. I was relieved to know my lights worked and my windshield was o.k. Then they couldn't find the cause of a scraping sound when I apply my brakes. Was told it's nothing to worry about. Sheesh!

So you validated the guy's bad attitude by walking out. I can just imagine the conversation: "Jenny, see what you did? That's why *I* need to handle ALL sales! If you hadn't started with this customer, they would've been mine from the start and we would've made bank on the sale." Jenny, in her head "they don't pay me enough to take this crap from him" and that puts her into "bad day employee mode" for the whole rest of the day. What you should've done, was tell the guy "hey hold on thar, baba-blouey, this gal here is doin' a bang-up job and I wanna stick with her for this sale. So you can just go right on ahead and skeet-daddle back to your cubby and text-porn on your cell phone. Me and Jenny got some paperwork to fill out." |
