Default Water proof storage in a Street Rod

I’ve alway kept a blanket and towel in my golf cart in case of cold or rain. My EZ Go has a shelf above the driver where these things stay dry in the rain. In my Yesteryear cart I can put them in the hood compartment, and it doesn’t leak.

However, my parents have a Street Rod that has the delivery truck body. Their hood compartment is not rain resistant. Is there some accessory, like a shelf, I could get for them to keep their towels and blankets dry in an unexpected shower? Or is there some compartment already there they don’t know about?

There should be a tray under the dashboard on the passenger side.

How about using a plastic bag for the towels and blanket?

She tried the plastic bag. One time she thought she sealed it, but there was a little hole, everything molded.

I’ll look for the tray, maybe they haven’t found it yet.
