We have a new EZ-GO and the bracket that holds straps for golf bags has a 1 inch hole in the center. Does anyone know what it is used for?

Yes, It is for your ball retriever .. (at least that is what we use it for....)

I was told by the EZ Go store folks that since EZ Go sell so many fleet cars to resorts the hole is to carry a sand trap rake required by many resorts rather than 10 rakes around each trap. In our case it does make a handy spot for a ball retriever
