Yes I went to Webster too & ordered a cart. But ended up going back to the Yamaha dealer in Colony Cottage, saved about $400. Webster was nice enough to Credit my Credit Card back. Definitely check Webster they are cheaper than most & not a bit high pressured.

Carts and Clubs

Looked round and decided on Carts and Clubs in Ocala off 441. We worked with Du and the pricing is great and they offer several standard features that you have to pay fo elsewhere. Very impressed with their cart construction. We customized a great cart. I would check them out before you buy.

Golf carts

Where do you get insurance for a golf cart for $90.00. Mine to cover for full value was mid $200,s. Told our Yamaha would get 40-45 m.p.g. Not 50. Have a good day.

check out Village Discount Golf Carts...

Just a heads up they are not an Authorized Yamaha Dealer so they have nothing new from the Factory.

Perhaps wishing for a 2021 is like having champagne taste with beer pockets. I bought a great used one from Jim Chase 585 872 5878

Golf Cart Sticker Price

Hi Joe,
I am about to list my 2017 Tomberlin 2 seater electric golf cart for sale. It is like brand new, and the only reason that I am selling it is because I am sick, and can no longer drive it. I am hoping my wife can take phots next week. I am asking $5,500. I have had it serviced once a year, and I have all of the receipts. This is an excellent golf cart at an excellent price. Call me at 352-430-0302 if you have any interest. Tom

Come Joe! Bite the bullet and buy a nice golf cart. :coolsmiley:

Cry once and enjoy a nice cart for the next....well pretty much the rest of our lives, right? Well we're heading to Webster to see what they have tomorrow....I'll check it out and report back!

As for used....I'm sure there are some killer deals out there and I'm familiar with the saying on the golf course when you hear the emergency sirens. But I just haven't seen 'em. $11,500 for a loaded mint 2019 or $7200 for a barely used 2016 or even $4,000 for a nice 2008....(which is the bluebook on our 08 caddie STS by the way). An 2021 for around 8 plus options just seems like the way to go.

Finally, I admit the villages stores provide tremendous convenience and service. If a guy just wanted to hit the easy button that would be the way to go. However, as my wife and I come from families that try to everything the hardest possible way, that's just not going to work for us ;)

Joe

You need not fear buying a reconditioned vs new. Carts are quite efficient and gas is the best. Look for what the options are. Basic seats are just that basic. After spending a day really driving your cart you'll wish differently. I'm no telling you to buy from the villages. Those off campus like village discount are quit good.

we bought one from them also

Humm I have 3 Yamaha Gas carts and pay a total of $200.00 for all 3. You better do some more shopping around for cart insurance. By the way, mpg on my 2017 Yamaha does hit 50 mpg at times if I am just using it for cruising and not golfing. Most will average 40-45 mpg

We have a 2017 Yamaha and a 2013 club car. Our annual insurance including collision is $160 through Foremost Ins for two carts. We get about 45 mpg.

Lottoguy 09-21-2020 08:55 AM

Buy it in Ocala, way cheaper and then they deliver it to you.
