I agree. I also don't think it hurts to post again..... not everyone who has one is an original owner. I just sold a (recall serviced) 2015.

All things weigh differently, many have no scale.
I received a formal letter from the Villages Golf Cart Store. That is how I found out about the recall and they fixed the issue "pronto too."

I received formal notification from Yamaha Golf-Car Company. I had purchased the cart from Carts and Clubs.

I received letters from both Yamaha and Carts and Clubs about the recall action. Carts and Clubs has even scheduled recall repair events at various locations in The Villages. My 2018 is due for it's first oil change and they will make the repair during that visit to my driveway.

I JUST (3 days ago) bought a 2015 Yamaha from Villages Discount Golf Cart on 466. No mention. It is reconditioned and mint! I hope this was fixed. Calling tomorrow.

Had our 2018 fixed a couple of weeks ago at the Pinellas WD parking lot; quite a few were out there that day. My 2015 wasn't affected by the recall.

Had ours repaired in about 15 minutes and they fixed the speed which had crept up to almost 28 MPH.

This is a very important safety issue, it's not NOTHING. Good Job.

The letter I received from Yamaha states that the problem with the accelerator pedal return spring exists in certain 2016-2018 models. The letter from Yamaha does not mention 2015, so I guess the Consumer Reports article got it wrong.
