Default Golf Cart flasher beep

I cannot hear the flasher (directional) beep on my 2010 Yamaha golf cart. Does anyone know how to get it to beep again so it will remind me my flasher is on?

Default Beep

I don't think it has a beep. I've had mine since new and the only beep I hear is my wife telling me to turn the damn thing off. Looking foward to the relpies on this one.

I've installed beepers on several carts that didn't have them. Just a 12 volt beeper from Radio Shack. Pilot lights will also work if they are in your line of vision, thats what I use now. These devices just need to be hooked into the blinker circuit.

I have a 2010 Yamaha and it definitely has a beep for the turn signal. Not as loud as my 2004, but it does have one. On the 04, it was so loud I had to put some Velcro over the beeper to tone it down.

My Yamaha had a very weak beep. Sometimes you could barely hear it and sometimes you couldn't hear it at all. It was a bad flasher unit. When I had it replaced, I had all the beeping I could stand.

My Yamaha flasher quit beeping when the flasher went out. Had it replaced and working fine now.

Tnx guys for info, but nobody really answered my question which is how do I make the beep louder. There is probably a resister somewhere which is bleeding off the current so the beeper is not loud. If I knew where it was I could remove it or reduce the wattage of the resister.

Don't know where it is though!

I think they did. You need a new flasher.

Did you ever hear a beep? When we ordered our 2010 Yamaha cart last year we paid $10.95 for the turn signal buzzer option. Otherwise it just came with the red light on the dash that flashes when you have the turn signal on. So you may not have a buzzer to beep. You could probably get one added on. Ask The Villages Golf Cars.

The first cart we had had two beepers. One for left and one for right. They were taped face to face and the sound was muted. I took the tape off and they were much louder.
