An LSV that goes over 25 mph is an illegal vehicle.
It's not only the extra 5 mph but LSVs are allowed on streets with speed limits up to 35 mph. So you can drive on Morse and Buena Vista and go around the roundabouts and not have to take the MMPs an all of the tunnels.
It's not worth it to me but some people are willing to pay whatever it is to have all of the extra equipment and to register and insure the vehicle in order to go 5 mph faster and drive on 35 mph streets.
