My little rescue

This is my Lulu.
A designer dog. Puppy mill breed. Morkie Maltese & Yorkshire.
Her prior owner was sending her back to the breeder because she could not be potty trained. ( she is now )
A year later she could not be a better little girl and has big sis. They play all day.
Her last issue is separation anxiety. Understandable.
They just gave up on her.

Wow, gorgeous doggies and full of such potential with the right owner - they were so meant to be in your home! :bigbow:

Our LolliPop had at least three homes before us. She is seventy pounds of humor and love. She would get adopted for being cute and she'd be returned because she was clumsy or needed a lot of exercise. She is extraordinary, unique personality, interesting, funny, smart, Very affectionate, and she klacks her teeth when she is happy. Loudly and often. She is kind to her little 10 lb brother. We both adore her.

It was great to finally meet you in person, Deb. I hope you have some successful adoptions at Petco on Sat! It's a wonderful thing that Villagers have a lot of compassion in their hearts for abandoned animals.

If I read this correctly, it was mentioned your sanctuary does not charge a fee. How does your sanctuary or rescue raise money to pay for surgeries or medical conditions your dogs might require? Thank you for helping find homes for homeless animals.

And thanks to all the many people on here that have adopted a rescue.

The Sanctuary has fundraisers of various sorts and does get some personal donations that go towards the many expenses of running the sanctuary (the dogs are spayed or neutered). And we have a very understanding vet from what I understand; I am not involved with the bookkeeping end but do value your question. Thank you for your good wishes, let's hope for an adoption tomorrow!
