Way too often little dogs in Florida end up homeless and that's where rescue comes in. Many of the dogs that Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida takes in are in pretty bad shape and in need of surgery, heartworm treatment, or other treatment. As you can imagine, there are a lot of veterinary bills. Please check out the fundraiser the rescue has going on in March to win a 2-night stay at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa at Bonita Springs, FL (near Naples).

Relax in their spa, take their boat ride to a private island with beach, enjoy their multiple pools (one is adults only), water slides, float down their lazy river (it is man-made - no gators), or enjoy exploring the area.

Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida is a non-profit rescue. Dogs are fostered in homes all over the state of Florida, so there are no building expenses. And there are no paid employees as the rescue is made up of all volunteers. Monies raised benefit the dogs.
