Revised for more complete info: Two dogs are in need of a loving home. Comet is a beautiful, 6 yr old Black Mouth Cur whose owner passed away unexpectedly. He is trained for Search & Rescue (human) work as a tracker and is very good in such work. He is pictured, not with his owner, but with his trainer. Comet is crate trained, and loves his dog toys. He would do best in a single dog home as one man/woman pet, as he is an extremely loyal boy who is careful to warm up to new people and male dogs. The second dog (not pictured) is Hershey. She is an 8 yr old Red Bone Coon Hound in excellent condition, also trained for Search & Rescue, but was spoiled by being used to find lost cats for which she decided she preferred over people rescue. She is a mellow dog that could be great as a companion or even therapy dog. She is house broken and crate trained and likes all people from the smallest baby to the oldest and feeble.

I was asked to also mention that if either of these dogs is homed in or near The Villages, they come with an automatic dog sitter, so taking trips without the dog is no problem.
