Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida has taken in several more dachshunds and are in desperate need of foster homes. This can be a one time foster or you can continue to foster for the rescue. You also have the option to say I only want to foster a female dog, for example. The rescue is very good about trying to accomodate foster homes if they have preferences.

What does a foster home do? What you normally would do if the dog was yours. Provide food, water, shelter, love, and take the dog to approved vet appointments (rescue pays the vet). You will be sent adoption applications when someone applies for the dog and you get to choose who you think would be a good fit for that dog. Nobody is going to know that dog better than you.
