I just came from Petsmart (they have dog rescue groups there on Saturdays with their furry babies who are ready to be adopted) Max's Pet Connection had some great smaller sized dogs (I want them all) that would do great in The Villages! One Pomeranian stood out. Gorgeous fur! Great for someone who wants a lovable lap dog to brush (needs lots of brushing). It was owned by a breeder who surrendered it because, although beautiful, he can not reproduce. He looks like a show dog though! Lots of other little friendly dogs there too if anyone wants a new furry baby!

I took Lucy for a walk (more like a slow meander) while I was there and would love to hear that she gets adopted! She is a larger Scottie-Corgi mix and a real easy going dog. She won't win any races, but will make a great companion!
