Default Paper Shredding Event for Humane Societies

The fourth annual paper shredding event to benefit Sumter County and Leesburg humane societies is scheduled for Saturday, March 23, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital parking lot. This is a great event and has earned more than $8500 in donations for these very worthwhile organizations from the three previous events. There will be two industrial shred trucks this year. There will also be cats and dogs available for adoption. Please support this very worthwhile event to help homeless animals. Please note that the sponsors reserve the right to refuse binders and bulk commercial items.

Thank you for this info...my husband was just asking about a paper shredding day. How convenient...at our Vet's office. And to help the animal shelters, a cause very dear to my heart. I volunteered over 20 years at our shelter in MA.

Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital accepts donations anytime of dog or cat food for Shelters. Also a lot of people don't realize that Shelters need your old towels, sheets, etc., for bedding for the animals.

Do you know if there will be any Shih Tzu's for adoption at the event?

We don't know which dogs and cats will be at the event. Last year there were kittens and a mix of large and small dogs.

It would be a good time to get rid of your scruffy old towels! Shelters need bedding for homeless pets. Your old towels, sheets, etc., will be gladly accepted by Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital for Shelters that need bedding.
