Default Jimmy Stewart's Beau

Jimmy Stewart, always a favorite, is one of the best of the greatest generation. He recites a poem he wrote about his dog, Beau. Watch:

Yes, JS was one of the best of the greatest generation. I read your title and thought you were posting that he was gay. I'm glad I opened your post though. The poem and his telling of it gave me goose bumps.

Yes, he was one of the greatest.

Thanks, K9

I think he did this on the Johnny Carson show a long time ago, I remember the night and it was wonderful... He was truly great! Thanks for sharing...

Arrow A Real Gentle Man

Jimmy Stewart was one shining example of a truly good man. I vaguely remember this, but I loved hearing it again. They don't make'em like that anymore.

This (1981??) poem was on one of the DVDs of Johnny Carson's favorite moments.

The Ultimate Johnny Carson Collection - His Favorite Moments From The Tonight Show (Vols. 1-3) (1962-1992)
