Ditto.

Just keep thinking what they always say..

"And the cat came back."

Kindest thoughts and hugs.

When my cat went missing I would go out very early in the morning and at dusk when it was quiet and call her name. This went on for a while and one morning I heard her cry out. She was close by hiding under a log and terrified. Please try this. My cat was very shy and spooked easily. They usually stay close to home but hidden. I'm sure she had cried out before but I couldn't hear her. Good luck.

Actually it's not all that far as the crow flies. It's a possibility especially since the owner said the cat was chased and ran. Hopefully you get a response.

Put out fliers offering a $1,000 reward and you will have many, many orange cats to choose from.

(that happened in our neighborhood in Calif about 15 years ago when a only nephew lost his elderly aunt's cat - cat turned up in a neighbors garage about two doors away)

Default Oliver aka Ollie

Oliver, also known as Ollie, is still missing.

I did get a call from a Rec Assistant at the Mulberry Grove Rec Ctr earlier this week that an orange tabby had been seen in the bushes. The assistant said she'd try and get a humane trap from VCCCD on Wedgewood Lane and place a bit of canned tuna to see if she can't trap Ollie. Many people, bless them all, have called to say they've seen an orange-ish red tabby but so far, it hasn't been the right cat. I am missing my not so little 12-15 pound kitty.

Ollie has a bit of white under his chin, down his chest and extending to his belly. Otherwise an orangey-red color, about the color of butterscotch in a tabby pattern. Greenish eyes, as this photo shows.

I saw a white and orange cat in the Walmart on CR 466 yesterday, Sunday 3/13. It was in the parking lot on the side next to the liquor store (CR103 side). It was a fairly large cat. There is plenty of ground cover there and I noticed dumpsters in the rear of the building at that end. Hope this may help.

Default Oliver

Hello,

There was a sighting on Saturday, March 19. I am still hopeful. Starting this week, probably Tuesday, I will be running another ad in the Villages Sun, with a slightly different phone number on it. If someone sees Oliver, please call the number in the classified.

I am still hoping my sweet Ollie is still out there...somewhere.

Default Oliver

Saturday night's sighting was in the north Glenbrook area off Talley Ridge. Sigh, the cat seen had tortoise shell colored fur. A "tortie" is typically rusty orange, brown, black and white. "Torties" are typically female while dark orange or "red" tabbies like Oliver are typically male. Something to do with the genes.

I am running another ad this week, hopefully with his picture. Oliver is almost completely dark orange, about the color of rust, bordering on a reddish color. He does have some white under his chin, down his chest and in an irregular fashion, on his belly. When you first look at him, you'd probably be hard pressed to see the white. Also, when Ollie gets distressed he tends to lose whiskers.

Thanks to everyone who is out looking for Oliver.

I see you have Oliver posted with a picture on TV Pet Finder, why not put a link to that here?
Hope he comes home soon.
