I took my pooch out to do his mid-afternoon pee in our backyard and he got pre-occupied with hunting lizards. I saw one run under the propane tank and then I lifted up the tank so that my dog could have an opportunity to get the anole. The lizard took a run up my pant leg as soon as my canine's jaws got close. Just a few inches up the jeans' leg though. I shook the pants and the reptile fell out and went under the propane tank.

I lifted up the gas tank again so that I could reward my dog to a rare treat for him.

This time the gecko went all the way up my pant leg. I am jumping up and down trying to get this critter out. He or she is still there.

I give myself an airport pantdown trying to find where this little new found friend went.

No luck at all at finding him.

I run into the house with the dog in tow hoping that the lizard will not fall out in the house.

I make it to the bathroom and fortunately the toilet is open. As soon as I have my pants down; out leaps the lizard from a place that rarely gets this much action.

He jumps right into the toilet from his perch.

I am considering giving my pet another try but I am getting kind of tired with the over friendly animal.

So, I try to flush.

The lizard is having nothing to do with the spiralling water and escapes from the water box.

Goes where I do not know but I am sure going to start wearing a lot more shorts in the house rather than pants.

This was Sport not Beau that hunted this anole. Me and Sport in a picture taken by my friend Grace back around 2012.
