Barefoot, I share your pain as I lost my pal of 17 years last January. I've also been fighting the urge everyday but so far my dear wife has won (so far )

What an awesome and fierce cat! And my timid Molly ran downstairs about one hour ago when a thunderstorm started LOL.

Losing a cat really does leave a hole in one's heart. They are such strange, unique and complicated individuals. In our case, Fireboy is against getting a cat because we drive a lot. We spend three days in the Fall getting to TV, and three days in May returning to Canada. Our little Himalayan didn't mind, she would just curl up with the two dogs and sleep. We miss her sunny personality.

How is Molly doing ... Is she spending more time upstairs?

Our orange and white tabby, Fletcher, died at age 20 in '92. He was four years older than our oldest son at the time. We still miss him.
