I loved your story. We moved from NOVA to the Villages 3 years ago. Our two cats made the journey with us. They adjusted to the Florida lifestyle quicker than we did. They moved from a 4000 sq foot house to one half the size. They quickly discovered all the sun patterns on the lanai and now happily spend their days sunning, eating and relaxing.

Thanks Judy. Corkers is an outdoor cat here in VA and will have to be an indoor cat when in Florida. Has anyone made that change with a cat? If so how was it handled, how long did it take, what was the process?
