I am so sorry. Losing such a wonderful companion is not easy. Stay strong and in due time, the happy memories will begin to take the edge off your sadness...

So sorry for your loss. She was one very lucky dog to have had the honor and privilege to adopt your family and love you as her own.

It has been over two years since we lost our pug Chester and a day doesn't go by that we talk and share a funny story or experience we had with him. We were so happy that he got to enjoy the Villages lifestyle for the last 4 months of his life. He thought that the golf cart was the greatest invention that us crazy humans ever invented.

She will live on forever in your heart every time you think of her.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I totally understand the grief you are feeling. I have had about 7 or more dogs in the past 30 years and when each and everyone past, I was devastated and still have such wonderful memories of all of them. They will be in my heart forever. My condolences to you and your family.

So sorry for your loss. We have been through the same and still talk about our "Maxie Dog"---always with love and laughs at his antics through the years that we were privileged to have him in our family. Hope it will get easier for you as time goes by.

I lost a once in a lifetime Benji type in 1992, mourned 10 years, and had a final cry.
Retired in 2009 and volunteered at human society where on day 1 I met Emma, a boxer and now my twice in a lifetime best friend.

feeling your loss...

....our pets don't ask for much but give back so so much.

So glad for your 13 years with Callie.

We just had to put down our 17.5 yo Sheltie this spring. It was time, she was deaf and could barely see and we were carrying her outside to do her business for 3 mos. We do miss her.

We have decided to adopt a puppy cause we miss our Tootsie so much. Not to replace but to help fill that void and because the Shih Tsu is lonely too.

Take care and be comforted in your good memories!!!

I just ran across our golden's ashes today. He died five years ago, and since we are moving from MI to TV, I will scatter him in the water at the dog beach. It will still make me sad, as it will remind me of his beautiful, blocky face and happy smile. We have another golden, 5,who is quite lovable but different in personality. He brought us some measure of peace to our grief, and I hope another one will eventually do the same for you. Best wishes to you.

So very sorry for your loss--I lost my beautiful toy Poodle Chloe in April and I miss her so very much--she is in Rainbow Bridge--I hope you put your dear one there as well

Our sincere condolances on your loss, its like losing a child, you get so attached to them and their love and joy at seeing you is completely without condition and unrestrained.

We are dreading losing our little Millie, who is also 13 years and although she is a well traveled dog and is on her 4th UK Pet Passport, we are in dread every time we fly her over to the US, luckly up to now she just appears to take it in her stride.

I feel your pain. She was certainly a beautiful girl. My oldest pooch is now 16 1/2 and although I adopted him 5 short years ago, he's one of those special ones. Please consider adopting another dog once you've had time to grieve as there are many animals that need the love you have to give. My sincerest sympathy to you.

You are most definitely in our thoughts & prayers. Just try and get thru today and let the tomorrows handle themselves. May those puppy kiss memories warm your broken heart.

Someone once sent a card that read - Dogs are furry little vitamins for your soul. I'm truly sorry for your loss, and that the day comes soon enough that the heaviness felt in your heart will lighten a bit.
